G&Life is an innovative start-up that works in the field of nutrigenetics, designs and develops personal genetics services, nutritional pathways and personalized lifestyles, defined on the basis of genetic heritage, taste and habits Individual.
G&Life began its activity with nutrigenetics: nutrition is one of the key points through which the individual can play an active role in preventing the onset of diseases. In sports the start-up carried out a research project in collaboration with the University of Udine.
The company has tested top-level athletes, allowing to develop a series of services in order to optimize the training program, in fact expanding the method developed for nutrition in the sports field.
Vision and mission
G&Life now aims to extend the personalized approach to the genetics of aging. The market potential of the new product is very high: it will allow G&Life to enter the market of cosmeceutics and nutraceuticals with innovative products that, a market research done ad hoc by G&Life, can affect 7% of the population a market worth around 500 million euros (research commissioned at SWG 2014).
At the moment there is no such a tool on the market or in research, which allows the individual to choose the nutritional plan, nutraceutical and cosmeceutic even considering his genetic heritage in order to maximize the effect of defending ageing processes and increase the active life period.
